TOP 10 RECOMMENDED RECORDS OF 2018

TOP 10 RECOMMENDED
RECORDS OF 2018
__________

It's quite a mixed bag — my
personal "Best Of" album
picks for 2018. Simply put,
it's all about the songs, man.
__________

It's an impossible task, to be sure. I mean, c'mon now, is anybody truly qualified to determine the "best" music of any particular anything? And even if that person did exist, with thousands and thousands and thousands of new records dropping each year, who's got the time to listen to 'em all? Truth be told, I don't want to invest that much effort into analyzing anything that doesn't involve Skittles or Jesus. However, as the self-proclaimed "Show Biz Guru," buttloads of records find their way onto my radar each year. And 2018 was no exception. So, based on my personal myriad musical discoveries, these are the records that spoke to me most profoundly over the last 12 months. Disclaimer — genres mean nothing to me. I'm ALL about songs.
