|Michelle and I ringing in 2013.|
I hope that everybody's
New Year's celebration
was awesome (and safe).
I rang in 2013 DJ-ing a club
in Palm Bay, Florida and
I had a blast indeed! And
now that the holidays are
over for the most part, we
all now can focus on the
new year ahead.
|I'm amped about my upcoming book |
tour with Canadian author Brent Jensen.
I'm not personally into New Year's resolutions. However, I am very big on setting and achieving goals. And I'm psyched to get down to business in 2013.
I'm going back on tour later this month. I'll be teaming up with Canadian rock author Brent Jensen from January 20th - 24th for a Southeast U.S. trek that will take us through FL, GA and TN. Get the whole scoop HERE.
And speaking of author related endeavors, I also expect to complete my next book in 2013. Tentatively entitled BOOMERANG!, book #3 will pick up where my second, C'MON!, left off — serving up more appetizing accounts of my wacky adventures along with healthy portions of Jesus as the main course.
This June, I will receive my AA Degree in Bible Studies from East Coast Christian University in Merritt Island, Florida. Not bad for a guy who barely graduated from high school and until recently hadn't cracked a textbook in over thirty years. Crazy!
I also intend to continue focusing on creating consistent, quality, entertaining blog content throughout the new year. From pop culture and politics to faith, fashion and more, my blog will continue to be the seventh most awesome Internet destination in 2013.
But more than anything else, the new year offers us all a shot at a new beginning — a fresh start with family, friends, finances, etc. Maybe you desire a fresh start in terms of faith. Well, there's no better time than the new year to establish or re-establish a connection with Christ. Be sure that if being faced with judgment and condemnation is your perception of a relationship with Christ, you've been buying from the wrong dealer. And for those who are already believers, if your church experience is more about feeling guilt than receiving grace, I also encourage you to check out the grooviest place on earth — East Coast Christian Center, located in Merritt Island, Florida. Thanks to the newfangled video streaming technology, you now can join me for any ECCC service from just about anywhere in the world via your iGadget of choice. Can it possibly get any easier or sweeter than that? C'mon!
You now can attend ECCC services without leaving your
home or changing out of your comfy Flintstones jammys.
A new year. A new beginning. A fresh start. Yes, 2013 offers us all amazing new opportunities. And I encourage everyone to hit the ground running and make this year your best EVER!
